About Bridges Academy

Bridges Academy located in Winter Springs, Florida is a private school whose focus is to provide outstanding, research based academic interventions for students who struggle in school. Students with diagnosed learning challenges such as dyslexia (reading), dyscalculia (math) dysgraphia (writing) auditory processing deficits, mild speech and language difficulties or are

considered at risk for school failure and struggle in traditional academic settings are potential candidates for the school program.

Students are assessed with a specialized intellectual assessment, the Structure of the Intellect Assessment, so that a customized roadmap for learning is created to address each students' strengths and weaknesses. Students are provided intensive remedial programs such as the Wilson Reading Program, Fast ForWord Program, Learning Breakthrough and Math-U-See, as a daily component of their instruction. Soundfield systems are in each classroom to improve  the quality of the listening environment, and an extended instructional day allows our students to complete the work that traditionally would go home for homework, under the direction of our faculty.

Our goal is to serve students who struggle, so they may achieve academic success. Our faculty members strive to "Build the Bridges" for our students to reach their future goals!
